Service Description: A free and culturally safe telephone helpline, text or web-chat that provides community-driven, culturally appropriate and timely mental health and addictions support to members of the 49 First Nations communities in Nishnawbe Aski region

  • Provides crisis counselling via a 24/7 toll-free telephone service, or by text, live chat, or Facebook messenger
  • Offered to anyone experiencing mental health challenges
  • Services include confidential crisis services, connection to ongoing mental health and addictions support services and access to clinical and mental health counselling
  • Services can be provided in the following areas:
    • Addictions
    • Domestic violence
    • Suicidality
    • Self-harm behaviours
    • Depression
    • Anxiety
    • Grief/bereavement
