Multi-Needs Program
  • Enhances the child's functional life skills, physical development
  • Maximizes intellectual ability
  • Student must be identified as having an intellectual disability or with a diagnosis of developmental disability

Pre-Workplace Program
  • Enhances functional life skills and maximize intellectual and academic abilities
  • Students work towards an Ontario Secondary School Certificate of Achievement

Superior Collegiate, grades 9-12
Westgate Collegiate, grades 9-12
Hammarskjold High School, grades 9-12
Hearing Resource Unit
  • Designed to meet the needs of hearing impaired students

Program is available at the following schools:
Woodcrest Public School, grades 1-8
Hammarskjold High School, grades 9-12

Application:
  • Through the board office, eligibility is determined by Special Class Placement Committee
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Student must be identified as having an intellectual disability or with a diagnosis of developmental disability


Multi-Needs Program

  • Student must be identified as having an intellectual disability or with a diagnosis of developmental disability

  • Physical needs of the student are sever enough to necessitate special equipment and special assistance

  • Sever delays in academic functions should also be evident


Pre-Workplace Program

  • Student must be identified as having an intellectual disability or with a diagnosis of developmental disability

  • Significant delays in academic functioning are evident
