Service Description:

Spinal Cord Injury Ontario champions excellence in service, advocacy and quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries
Assists individuals with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence, self-reliance, and community participationProvides practical help, advocacy, and assistance from injury to rehabilitation into the communityOffers service coordination to help navigate the system, advocate for change, adjust to life with a physical disability and achieve goalsPeer Support- Matches individuals who are recently injured, and their family members, to individuals who have lived experience with a spinal cord injury
Employment Support- Offers job coaching and a skills workshop to help overcome barriers to employment
Learning Platform- Provides a platform where individuals who are injured can access information on relevant topics
