Works collaboratively with a network of organizations, groups and individuals to establish and support a comprehensive and effective community response to end woman abuse
Functions as an independent, non-profit cross-sectoral committee dedicated to ending violence against womenEngages in systemic advocacy to improve the development and coordination of services for those affected by violence against womenWorks to ensure better enforcement of the laws to protect woman abuse survivors and their childrenAssists in community education on violence against womenRepresents the areas of women's services, child welfare, women's shelters, justice systems, police services, multicultural associations and other members of the community
