Service Description: Administers programs and services to improve the quality of life for off-reserve Aboriginal people with a focus on social, educational and cultural development

Located at Queen St near Van Horne Ave

Programs and services to improve the quality of life for off-reserve Aboriginal people with a focus on social, educational and cultural development
  • Provides a meeting place for urban Aboriginal people
  • Provides daily coffee, tea and soup for Centre patrons
  • Hosts cultural events
  • Offers meeting space to agencies and community groups on a rental basis

Offers the following programs:
  • Aboriginal Healing and Wellness Program
  • Aboriginal Health Outreach Program
  • Akwe Go Program (Youth Services)
  • Apatisiwin Program
  • Community Connection Program
  • Diabetes Program
  • Food Bank
  • Life Long Care Program
  • Wasa Nabin Program
  • Youth in Transition

Fees: Membership - Annual membership fee
Application: All programs require an intake assessment and advance registration
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Open to all with a focus on off-reserve Aboriginal individuals and their families
Membership preferred but not mandatory
