Service Description: Located at Hwy 11/17

  • Provides information on agriculture production through workshops, information sessions, one-on-one consultations, and print and web-based resources
  • Coordinates and facilitates the delivery of agriculture related knowledge transfer activities such as local training seminars in latest farming techniques
  • Provides general information on Ministry programs, services and resources for the agriculture and food sectors and the rural community
  • Provides referrals for farmers in financial difficulty for farm management advice, legal information, family and stress counselling, and government programs for transition off the farm
  • Provides economic development information and programs to support the development and expansion of the agriculture, aquaculture and food processing sectors

  • Fees: Service - Information sessions; Workshops

    • Appointments are recommended for office visits
    • Financial assistance inquiries can be directed to either the agricultural representative or through the toll free number
