Service Description: Serves as a non-political, regional Chiefs Council which provides support services to five First Nation communities

Located on King St, 1 block N of Sioux Lookout Post Office

Serves as a non-political, regional Chiefs Council which provides support services to 5 First Nation communities
  • Provides governance, political support, technical advisory, community development support and advocacy to member First Nations in their quest to build self-sufficient communities
  • Promotes Aboriginal recognition and cultural awareness of the member First Nations
  • Consists of Chiefs and representatives from each community
  • Delivers programs and services through local community government
  • Participates in and co-hosts the annual Northern Ontario First Nations Environment Conference (NOFNEC) with several other Tribal Councils
