Service Description: Located in the Ontario Government Building on James St S

  • Provides financial assistance and benefits (drug, dental, hearing aids, glasses) for families of children with one or more permanent functional disabilities
  • Enables a child to live as normal a life as possible at home and in the community

  • Fees: None

    • Call the office for application forms and there will be a follow up visit

    Eligibility - Population(s) Served:
    • Children who are severely disabled with a permanent functional loss in one or more areas of development
    • Monthly benefit is determined by the extraordinary expenses directly related to the child's disability and the gross family income
    • Medical travel expenses not covered by the Northern Travel Grant may be allowable
