  • Maintains a large database of Independent Contractors who are interested in providing respite services for families
  • Includes general orientation and training
  • Provides assistance for families in the recruitment, screening and matching of independent respite providers
  • Services may involve in-home care, community-based social and/or recreational opportunities and/or skill enhancing activities according to the needs and interests of each participant and their family

  • Fees: Service * Families are able to hire independent respite providers using funding they receive from the following sources:

    • Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities Program (ACSD)
    • Special Services at Home (SSAH)
    • Passpor
