Located at Rat Portage Reserve in Kenora, Ontario

Provides a 14-bed residential facility with services offered to men and women who seek assistance in dealing with their alcohol and/or drug dependence
Offers the following services:
  • Alcohol and drug education
  • Case management
  • Crisis intervention
  • Individual and group counselling
  • Follow-up and aftercare
  • Life skills and personal development teachings
  • Individual treatment planning
  • Recreation therapy
  • Traditional spiritual and cultural healing practices

Application:
  • Intake assessment required
  • Open to referrals from any source
  • Average treatment cycle is 28 days
Eligibility - Population(s) Served:
  • Aboriginal people residing in the Treaty #3 area
  • Must have desire to be free of chemical dependence
