Service Description: Functions as a one stop family centre, offering children and their families a place to meet, learn and grow together

Functions as a one stop family centre, offering children and their families a place to meet, learn and grow together
Babies Day Out Parent and Infant Drop In
  • Provides resources and information from Early Childhood Education Workers and Public Health staff
  • Offers stimulating experiences for parents and infants, such as circle time where parents sing songs and interact with their babies
  • Coordinates discussions on topics concerning infant care, parenting and growth, and development that are relevant in a baby's first year
Caregiver Drop-In
  • Provides a space for in home Child Care Providers to bring a group of children to engage in a variety of activities
  • Offers opportunities for child care providers to engage in discussions regarding in home child care information
  • Provides Early Childhood Education Workers on site who assist in coordinating activities
Playskills for Children with Autism
  • Provides a social learning opportunity to connect with other families who are facing similar challenges
  • Supports and facilitates social interaction in children
  • Encourages parents to make friends and establish play-dates outside of the group
Drop In
  • Offers an opportunity for children to play and learn together through songs, stories, and fun activities
  • Encourages parents and caregivers to engage in activities with their children
Just Me and My Dad Drop In
  • Provides an opportunity for fathers to engage in activities with their children, network with other fathers, and prepare and share meals together

Good Food Box Host Site
  • Provides a prearranged assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables on a monthly basis
  • Functions as a food purchasing system making fresh fruits and vegetables available at a reduced price
  • Food is available at prices equal or less than the cost at the supermarket through bulk purchasing and volunteer participation

Fees: Service - Good Food Box -- individual box is $15, family box is $25 * None - programs
Application: Programs do not require registration
